Orphanage

Hope Ministries supports an orphanage in West Bengal, India. The orphanage hosts approximately 40 children throughout the year. Your support of the ministry provides for all of their needs.
The children come to Hope for many reasons. Here is the story of a 6 year old girl:
“Her Parents are Very poor. Her Father works as a laborer with no permanent job. Last year elephants broke their house and in that attack their 6 year old girl was badly hurt. She nearly died but the Lord saved her. The forest department paid for her medical expenses but the family now has no home. They have two more children and they need help year around.”
Our goal is to reach 1,000 children within the next 10 years. There are currently hundreds of children waiting for support. Some of these children come from families that are so poor that they don’t even have enough money for food on a daily basis. Others are orhpans who have no family to care for them. You can sponsor a child today for only $40* per month. This will insure that they have food, shelter and clothing. These children are also able to attend school – an option that many of them never had before. They will also receive biblical training and hear of the love of Christ. When you sponsor, you will receive a biography and photo of your child and our monthly newsletter. Here is an example of just one of the many children waiting to be sponsored.

The Helping Hand Program provides monetary aid to responsible families to help them pay for their children’s food, education, medical care and other necessities.
